Working from home?

As a self employed plasterer and renderer the suggestion of working from home can only be one thing...... unpaid! Yes I can get all of my quotes worked out and contact customers with prices and weather updates, order sample panels, swat up on the latest products, but no I definitely cannot work from home.

So, instead my days are filled with the laughter, craziness, naughtiness and fun of my three year old and my five year old who are at home with me. We are spending our days home schooling Rex who is five and keeping Lenny, three, from scribbling all over Rex's school work. I do only work part time around my children, but this part time has now turned into evenings and weekends for the foreseeable future! My work may have gone out of the window until the restrictions are lifted a little and my parents can look after Lenny again, so for now I will enjoy the mayhem of two little boys and know they will not be little for long and these days should be treasured.

This means that I am still taking bookings, phone calls, answering emails, carrying out quotes and ordering materials but it may mean I will ask you if I can work for you in the evenings or at the weekends for the time being. My husband Gary will be taking time off for my bigger job commitments in the coming months so please do not worry if you already have a booking.
